FAQ

1. What can I expect in terms of added safety measures?

Your safety is our top priority. In keeping with public health regulations and provincial/state guidelines, please visit your provincial/state government website for information on vaccine and mask policies. Thank you for your cooperation.

2. How Do I Request A Group Reservation?

All requests are considered based on availability. Please submit your inquiry by completing the form found under SUBMIT REQUEST on this page. A Keg representative will respond to all requests within 2 business days.

3. How will I know if my event request has been received?

After submitting your event inquiry, you will receive an email stating that we have received your request. Within 2 business days, a representative will respond to your request to discuss your event details and proceed with your booking.

4. What is your confirmation policy?

Without exception, you must confirm your reservation directly with The Keg within 48 hours prior to your event. Unfortunately, if you are unable to confirm the details with us at that time, we will release your reservation from our system.

NOTE: Should your guest count significantly decrease upon arrival, and you fail to provide 48 hours’ notice in advance, your party may be subject to additional fees as determined by The Keg's management, with respect to the number of confirmed guests your reservation was originally intended for.
 

5. What if it’s necessary to cancel my group reservation?

Traditionally, reservations at The Keg are accepted on the honour system. We serve every event with the utmost courtesy and hope that our guests reflect the same courtesy back to us. We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice prior to the date of your event should any details change after the confirmation emails are sent. Please phone The Keg you booked at to speak with a manager directly and cancel or request any changes.

6. Does everyone in my reservation need to arrive at the reserved time?

We encourage each member of your party to arrive on time, but we understand that situations will arise that cause some people to be late. If there are members of your party who are more than 15 minutes late, we ask that you inform our staff and have all members that are present proceed with their orders. Please be aware that seating for your party may need to be rearranged if a significant number of guests are late or are unable to attend.

7. Is there a minimum spend to book a group dining reservation?

Depending on the requirements of your request, we may set an expected spend which will be noted in your official event summary. This is part of our predetermined agreement with you in order to staff, prepare and execute your reservation successfully.

8. Is a deposit required when booking a group reservation?

Certain Keg locations may require a credit card to secure the reservation for group dining depending on the size of the group, time of year and seating availability. When a credit card is required, a Keg representative will make arrangements with you prior to the reservation date.

9. Is there a service charge applied to the final bill?

The Keg does not apply a service charge to guest checks. However, we suggest that you discuss a recommended gratuity amount with a Keg manager along with other details prior to the date of the event. This will help to avoid any confusion with deposits, separate payment methods and other event details at the time of billing.
